Who We Are As A Church
New Life Temple of Deliverance is a faith based, Bible teaching and believing church located in Culpeper, VA. We hope that you will stop by and worship with us if you are in the area.
We want to meet you where you are and hopefully help you grow in a meaningful relationship with Jesus Christ. We are people who struggle and hurt as we face the daily pressures of life. We are also people who are experiencing the life and joy of Jesus Christ in our daily lives and all that God has to offer. We would like nothing more than to have you join us as we seek, learn, and grow together in our spiritual walks with God.
Our History
New Life Temple of Deliverance is a member of the Emmanuel Chrisitian Center Ministries under the auspices of Overseer and Presiding Prelate Bishop Micheal V. Jackson, Sr. There were thirty men, women, teens and children in New Life’s congregation. The first worship service was held December 30, 2007 and the dedication and founding service was held January 27, 2008.
New Life Temple of Deliverance is located in a former furniture store. Through hardwork, efforts and contributions of members, family and friends the space has been transformed into a sanctuary befitting God’s glory.
The New Life Church family epxerienced a spirit filled first year. During the first couple of months Sunday Worship Service, Sunday School, Tuesday night Bible Study, and every fourth Friday Power Night Service was added. Most importantly God added souls to the church’s membership throughout the year by baptism and Christian experience.
New Life Temple of Deliverance is flourishing under God’s guidance through the leadership of Bishop and Co-Pastor Carpenter. The congregation is committed to an atmosphere of love and unity.
Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.
